Annual Lecture Event

School leaders and teaching staff  are invited to join us for our FREE annual lecture event focusing on the future of inspection in schools. In his Keynote speech Mike Sheridan, Regional Director of OFSTED, will outline the key changes to school inspections in 2018 and discuss the ways in which
inspection can increasingly be seen as a collaborative process in which the inspection team
provide constructive support to enable schools to continue to improve the quality of their
provision. Following the talk there will be a panel discussion reflecting on the changes and
how these may impact on schools; including on the reduction of workload, improvement of
teaching and learning and the professional development of staff.
